FIELD TRIP: THE DETAILS
The Basics: Field Trip Campers need to be at least 21 years old to participate. Your vineyard working visits and your foraging expedition will require you to be able to traverse inclined fields and forests, equivalent to a moderate-level hike.
Dates: May 4 – 8, 2026
May 4: Check-in to Timber Cove Resort. Evening Welcome Reception at Timber Cove where you’ll meet your Team and the other Campers.
May 5 – 7: Vineyard experiences, foraging
expedition, and evening dinners. Tuesday and Wednesday dinners will be hosted at Timber Cove and feature Jasmine Hirsch and Cleo Pahlmeyer from Hirsch Vineyards and Wayfarer Vineyard respectively. Thursday dinner will be hosted at Peay Vineyards.
May 8: Breakfast and morning at Timber Cove Resort, late morning check-out. Team Assignments: Campers will be assigned to a team of 12, led by a Waveland staff member. If you are attending with friends or as part of a group, you and your friends or group will be put on a team together. Pease indicate the Campers you want to be teamed with when completing your Field Trip Intake Form. Equipment/Clothing: The Sonoma Coast vibe is functional and comfortable and we encourage you to get on board. When heading to the vineyards, please wear footwear and clothing appropriate for working in the fields. You should also pack clothing and footwear appropriate for hiking along the beach, or in the hills overlooking the coast. Timber cove has several hiking trails on site as well as in nearby Salt Point State Park, Vista Trail, and
Stillwater Cove Regional Park. Dress code for our dinners is “whatever makes you
happy” – really – anything and everything is both welcome and appropriate. Lodging Choices: All Campers receive the same Field Trip experience. The only difference between the 6 packages is the type of room you select. When registering you will have a choice of available rooms. Timber Cove rooms vary in amenities, views, and number of guests they can accommodate. The prices for the various rooms are offered at both single and double occupancy prices or, as indicated, four-person occupancy. Please contact us with any questions concerning

Travel: Timber Cove is approximately 1.25 hours from by car from Charles M. Schulz Airport in
Santa Rosa, and 2.5 hours from San Francisco International Airport.
